Our Spider is now a four-race winner for his owners P F Edwards & S M Neylon.

An hour and three-quarters north in Nanango, the John Byrne-trained gelding Dinny’s A Suspect won the Heritage Bang Nanango Class B Handicap (1600m) by 4.5 lengths under jockey Kelly Gates.

It was Dinny’s A Suspect has now won two races for his owners B J Mulkerin, J G Byrne & N J O'Leary.
